I did not stay at the lodge, only golfed there. I don't really recommend this course. There is only one good view, the course is too tight in that tee boxes are right next to some greens, resulting in some danger to golfers. Some holes are very poorly thought layouts, and the yardages on signs do not match the scorecard, differences of 20 yards on some par 3's. That's a difference of two clubs! Some yardage markers throughout the course are not that accurate too. Bring your rangefinder! I hit one ball 30 yards over the green when relying on the yardage stake. I won't golf here again. I will stick with Hiland, which is a 12 minute drive from downtown Lake George.
